VERITY PULFORD

Artist gwydr yw Verity Pulford ac mae’n byw ac yn gweithio yng Ngogledd Cymru. Yma mae tair gweithlen wedi’u paratoi gan Verity sy’n archwilio ac yn rhannu rhai o’r dulliau arlunio, y diddordebau a’r themâu y bydd yn eu hystyried yn ei harfer.

Verity Pulford is a glass artist who lives and works in North Wales. Find here three worksheets prepared by Verity which explore and share some of the drawing techniques, interests and themes that she considers in her practice.

Caiff gwaith Verity ei ysbrydoli gan y ffurfiannau o fewn natur.  Caiff ei chyfareddu gan olau, yr hud y bydd yn ei greu yn yr amgylchedd naturiol a’r ffordd y bydd yn symud drwy wydr, yn adlewyrchu, ac yn creu cysgodion.  Bydd yn defnyddio amrywiaeth o ddulliau gwydr cynnes a phensaernïol i greu gwaith ar gyfer orielau ledled y Deyrnas Unedig, comisiynau pensaernïol ac arddangosfeydd. Mae Verity’n athrawes gymwysedig ac mae wedi gweithio fel artist preswyl mewn ysbytai, ysgolion a grwpiau cymunedol.  Bydd hefyd yn dysgu gweithdai o’i stiwdio gartref. 

Verity’s work is inspired by the structures within nature. She is fascinated by light, the magic it creates in the natural environment and the way it moves through glass, reflects, and creates shadows. She uses a variety of warm and architectural glass techniques to create work for galleries across the U.K, architectural commissions and exhibition.

Verity is a qualified teacher and has worked as artist in residence in hospitals, schools and community groups.  She also teaches workshops from her home studio.

Mae prosiect cyfredol Verit ‘Gardens of the Mind’ yn ‘archwilio’r gydberthynas weledol a ffisegol rhwng strwythurau a micro-strwythurau o fewn bioleg planhigion a bioleg ddynol’. Mae hwn wedi’i ariannu gan Gyngor Celfyddydau Cymru.

Verity’s current project ‘Gardens of the Mind’ investigates the visual and physical correlation between structures and micro-structures within plant and human biology. This has been funded by the Arts Council of Wales.
